This customer is an organization based in New Jersey that owns several hospitals, along with many smaller health facilities. They employ thousands of doctors, technicians, staff, and administrators who need reliable voice and data service in all areas of operation. Upon initial consultation, the customer had over 4,000 cellular lines of service including smartphones, tablets, USB modems, laptops, ambulance modems and mobile hotspots which quickly grew by 50% to over 6,000 cellular lines across many wireless accounts. In addition to wireless service, the customer had over 6,000 additional Apple devices being managed under Apple Business Manager (formerly Apple DEP), and 100+ telemetry machine to machine devices resulting in a total number of devices under our management over 12,000.
The $15,000,000 savings we achieved for this customer is summarized as follows:
1- $12,400,000 Savings on wireless monthly service, overages, and credits obtained. Utilizing a new carrier special contract recommended by Wireless Experts that derived exponential savings, this customer also obtained significant new plan and contractual benefits well beyond what was estimated in their initial audit. Substantial monthly overages ceased entirely.
2- $2,250,000 Savings on wireless equipment, devices & accessories
3- $361,000 one-time credits obtained due to carrier billing errors.
As a result of Wireless Experts designing and implementing new wireless and MDM management policies, the customers staff time managing wireless in the IT Department was reduced by 50%, and material workflow efficiencies were achieved allowing daily wireless transactions to be processed from days to within minutes.
